Our Vision

The EPRA Hub’s Vision

The Policy Hub takes inspiration from the so-called “policy sciences” and their shared aim of producing scientific knowledge, on the one hand, and responding to societal needs for information on the process of production of public policies. The UN and EU objectives of democracy, inclusion, and sustainability are intertwined, and they need to be translated into policy practices to sustain the correct functioning of our institutions.

His research interests concern comparative welfare systems and political economy, particularly social and labour policies. In particular, his research project concerns the social policy trajectories of European welfare states to mitigate the adverse effects of technological change on workers.

Stefano Ronchi
Assistant Professor

His research interests include comparative welfare state analysis, labour market policies and the politics of EU social policy, which he addresses through both quantitative and qualitative methods. More recently, he has been studying the social consequences of the green transition and the provision of occupational welfare in Italy.
