The seminar is dedicated to the presentation of the volume I Belhoumi. Storia di una
famiglia algerina in Francia. It is an original longitudinal research, lasting five years,
on the members of the same family of immigrants. It tells the story of a poor family
that despite difficulties and discrimination manages to integrate through the scholastic
success of their children. Links with the origins, the fight against racism, composite
identities, are the main themes of the discussion
