Anna Kyriazi
Citizenship, Education and DemocracyAnna Kyriazi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Milan. Since 2019 she has developed her research in the context of the ERC-funded Synergy project “SOLID”. Prior to that, she was a Juan de la Cierva-Formación Research Fellow at the Barcelona Institute for International Studies (IBEI). She holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute. Her research focuses on comparative European politics and policy. She has published widely in peer reviewed international journals, including West European Politics, the Journal of European Public Policy, the Journal of Common Market Studies, International Migration Review, and the European Journal of Industrial Relations, among others. Her coauthored monograph entitled “Social Policy and Polity-building Through Crises and Beyond” (Routledge) examines the expansion of the EU’s social dimension during the turbulent decade of 2010-2020.
