Caroline Schlaufer
Citizenship, Education and DemocracyCaroline Schlaufer works as a senior researcher and lecturer at the KPM Center for Public Management and manages the policy part of the Ethics and Policy Lab of the Multidisciplinary Center for Infectious Diseases of the University of Bern, Switzerland. Her research interests include the interface between science and policy, the political use of scientific evidence, the role of narratives in policy making, and policy processes in authoritarian regimes. Caroline Schlaufer completed her PhD in Public Administration at the University of Bern in 2016 and her Habilitation in Political Science in 2023. From 2017 to 2021, she worked as a professor of public policy at HSE University in Moscow.
